Literature Text

.... It is often times
               You forget

How loneliness feels
    Until

        It inexplicably
                        Sinks in.

Numb.
       Fading sensations of Sadness,
                             Emptiness;

All REPLACED

     By the dead feeling of empty space,

Only enough room for fragmented ghosts of CONTEMPLATION.

To be forgotten minutely
                         in the presence of a loved one,

    And then to be recalled unforgivingly
                        in the absence of confidence.
I used to write all the time, only now my muse calls to me again, for a most melancholy reason. Be warned, I'm rusty, so it isn't so polished.

Beautifully written, I felt the loneliness sink in around me as I read this.
